M/V Malvina
38' MOTOR VESSEL based on a commercial Salmon Troller design by William Garden.
In 1998 Bill Page started the construction of a 38' cruising vessel modeled after the Pacific Northwest salmon trollers. Construction started at French & Webb in Belfast where the hull and main decks were completed. At that point the hull was moved to Cushing for completion (Fall of 2000). Shortly after the hull was moved Bill asked me to help him finish the boat. Six and a half years later the interior joiner work, trunks and pilot house, and the deck decks were finished. At present her final systems work, painting, and varnishing is being done and a launching is eagerly awaited. I consider it a great privilege to have been part of a project of this nature.
